C'est mon tour !

Il m aura fallu un mois et 10 jours pour pouvoir enfin mettre mon blog en route, toutes mes excuses pour le retard, pas eu trop le temps depuis mon depart et c est plutot galere pour attacher les photos car il y a peu d auberges de jeunesse ou il y a l acces au pole USB...Bref, me voila, apres deja un mois et 10 jours de passe...Mon 1er mois a ete bien charge avec la visite de la partie EST des US, donc Chicago, les Chutes du Niagara, Stowe ds l etat du Vermont, Boston, NY et Washington. Depuis le 10 Octobre je suis a l OUEST :), LA, Phoenix (Arizona) et de retour en Californie depuis ce matin. Je suis a San Diego, et direction San Francisco la semaine prochaine. Ensuite la Nouvelle Zelande.

Resume bref :

1. Chicago : un vrai plaisir de redecouvrir la ville qui a enormement change depuis 10 ans

2. Les Chutes du Niagara (cote Canada) : et bien decue en fait, cela reste impressionant certes, mais c est un piege a touristes, en gros une machine a fric, car appart les chutes, circulez, y a rien a voir

3. Stowe (Vermont) : Mark & Trish, extraodinaires

4. Boston : Formidable accueil des soeurs de Bob, de grands moments :)

5. New York : 3 jours avec ma Coco et ma Gege, et ensuite decouverte a pieds des differents quartiers (j ai bcp aime Ellis Island, la statue de la liberte, soho et greenwich village)

6. Washington : Bcp a voir, ville tres riche culturellement, mais je n ai pas aime l atmosphere, trop rigide, pas la grandeur d une capitale et sentiment d insecurite...

7. LA : Ville du fun, mais pas si glamour que ca finalement, le cote Hollywood fait plutot has been, le seul endroit vraiment sympa est Santa Monica. Le cote Venice beach est a voir pour ses hippies et autres specimens, mais surtout pour ses canaux (ils voulaient recreer une petite venise dommage qu ils aient detruit la plupart des canaux pour faire des routes en asphaltes....)

8. C etait super de retrouver Penny, Joel, Amy et Josh, j ai eu l impression de revenir 10 ans en arriere :) !

Voila, tout va bien, la vie est belle :)

Sorry for the delay re my blog, didn t get the chance to do it before leaving and most of the hostels I ve been to didn t let access at the USB pole. Anyway, here I am, after already 1 month and 10 days...I ve been quite busy visiting the East side on the first month so Chicago, Niagara's falls, Stowe in Vermont, Boston, NY & Washington. Since October 10th, I flew to the West, and did LA, Phoenix (Arizona) and I m back in San Diego since this morning, heading to SF next week, and NZ the following.

Quick sum up

1. Chicago : A real pleasure to rediscover the city that has changed a lot in the past 10 years

2.Niagara Falls (Canada) : disappointed, it is impressive, but around is a big tourist trap so nothing much to do and see once you have seen the falls...

3. Stowe (Vermont) : Mark & Trish extraodinary

4. Boston : Wonderful time with Bob's sisters, some big moments :)

5. New York : 3 party days with Coco and gege, and then the following days, a lot of walking to discover NY, really liked Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Soho and Greenwich village

6. Washington : A lot to see, city very rich culturally but I didn t like the atmopshere, too rigid and do not stand out as the capital of the country and I didn t feel safe

7. LA : Fun city, but not so glamourous as Hollywood is a bit has been, Santa Monica is really nice. Venice beach is a must see for the hippies and other kinds of species...but above all for the canals (as they wanted to recreate a little Venise..too bad they destroyed most of them)

8. Was great to be with Penny, Joel, Amy and Josh again, felt like coming back 10 years ago :)

Everything is great, life is beautiful :)
